- 2D Material Heterojunction Customization Service
Approximately 5600 layered compounds have been found, of which more than 1800 are easily or possibly exfoliated, as the number of two-dimensional (2D) materials continues to expand. Alfa Chemistry creates high-quality bespoke heterostructures using CVD-grown 2D materials. To customize heterojunctions with different materials and layers of different materials, we can stack any of our company's CVD materials on top of each other. Alfa Chemistry has developed scalable methods for transferring 2D CVD-grown flakes back-to-back to construct 2D vertical heterojunctions, demonstrating our capabilities in a variety of substrate and heterojunction arrangements.

Despite the fact that our R&D team uses a chemical-free transfer procedure, transfer-related changes in the physical properties of the 2D layer, such as strain, substrate, and defects, are expected to occur. Other 2D materials, polymers, glass, TEM grids, metals, plasma structures, SiO2/Si, sapphire, diamond, and other substrate CVD monolayers have all been transferred so far. The cost of your sample is mostly determined by the substrate type, CVD monolayer, and other technical issues unique to your application and sample specifications. All transferred CVDs are final and non-refundable due to the unique nature of the production process.

2. Preparation requirements: faultless and advanced experimental equipment, complete 2D materials (excluding special materials), and customers only need to provide device structure drawings.
3. Surface cleanliness of the substance: the material surface is atomic level clean.

5. Preparation lead time: Depending on the difficulty of stripping 2D materials, the lead time may vary slightly. This will be determined by your project, the intended chemical composition, and sample production needs. In most cases, it takes 1-3 weeks.
Making a cloud pattern sample
Although this is theoretically conceivable, small-angle stacking is generally difficult and time-intensive. Transferring a triangular CVD monolayer to another CVD triangular sample is recommended. The sample will comprise multiple vertical heterojunctions with varied angular layouts since each material has triangles oriented in different orientations.
CVD Film Transfer to TEM Grids
Any CVD monolayer product can be transferred to any TEM grid. You must choose your own TEM grid, offer the model number, and provide extra TEM grids for testing.
