Titanium Diselenide Solution Customization

Titanium diselenide (TiSe2) belongs to the group IV transition metal disulfides (TMDCs) family and is one of the most common charge density wave (CDW) materials. The crystal structure of TiSe2 is octahedral with van der Waals stacking layers. TiSe2 has an electrical structure similar to that of semiconductors at the Fermi energy level. TiSe2 could be used in superconductors, optoelectronics, and improved low-temperature electronics. Superconductors, optoelectronics, enhanced low-power electronics, and ultrafast electronics could all benefit from TiSe2.

Alfa Chemistry specializes in two-dimensional nanomaterials research. Our R&D team is led by a group of PhDs with international study and years of research experience. We can "personalize" our TiSe2 solutions to meet the needs of our customers. Contact us today to assist you in solving your application problems quickly.

Titanium Diselenide Solution Synthesis and Characterization

Alfa Chemistry offers custom solutions containing TiSe2 flakes to its customers. Monolayers or multiple thick layers of flakes are suspended in distinct dispersion solutions in this TiSe2 solution. The types of dispersions we can provide include but are not limited to: ethanol, isopropanol, deionized water, NMP, etc. Because of its good dispersion, stability, and performance, we recommend isopropanol as a dispersion. Please contact us if you require additional solvents for your research.

Titanium Diselenide Solution Synthesis and Characterization

We use a liquid phase exfoliation method to prepare custom solutions. The ultrasonic treatment of high grade single crystal TiSe2 flakes and high purity dispersions in solution iso is the first step in our procedure. Exfoliation is aided by ultrasonic vibration in the liquid media, which helps peel and disperse monolayer and few-layer nanosheets. Depending on your needs, we may create monolayer, few-layer, multilayer, or even bulk stacked solutions. Our method varies the ultrasonic treatment temperature, gas environment, ultrasonic treatment power, pulse duration and pulse dwell time to obtain a high quality product without any deformation.

TiSe2 custom solutions are stable under ambient conditions and can be easily deposited on the substrate or surface of your choice. Electron energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDAX), Raman spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) studies have all validated the crystallinity of TiSe2.

Note

We primarily ship supersaturated 2D solutions to save money on shipping. The concentration of these solutions varies depending on the type of 2D layer. After the consumer receives the supersaturated solution, it can be diluted into a significant volume. The user can then use a simple technique to deposit the 2D layer onto the selected substrate. Please contact us if you have any additional queries.
