Description

Description TiTe2 is a semi-metal. The layers are stacked together via van der Waals interactions and can be exfoliated into thin 2D layers. The semimetal titanium ditelluride belongs to the group VI transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDC). 1T phase TiTe2 crystals are vdW semimetals with charge density wave properties.

Features And Benefits

Features And Benefits The typical lateral dimensions of the TiTe2 crystals we produce are about 0.8 cm, hexagonal, and have a metallic appearance. They are grown using two different techniques by chemical vapor transport (CVT) or flux zone growth. They also exhibit superconducting properties under applied hydrostatic pressure.
