Description

Description TiS3 is a layered material, similar to MoS2 and other layered systems. However, the crystals display strong crystal anisotropy, which leads to orientation-dependent properties such as thermal conductivity, electron mobility, and exciton binding energy. TiS3 nanosheets differ from our TiS3 crystals in that TiS3 nanosheets have been grown directly on thin Ti foils using a vapor-liquid-solid (VLS) growth technique. In a typical order, a large number of layered needle-like flakes are contained in capsules sealed under an argon atmosphere.

Features And Benefits Highly crystalline TiS3 nanoribbons are grown directly at high density perpendicular to the surface of the titanium foil. This product has unique advantages over TiS3: Ti/TiS3 nanosheet stacks can be mechanically exfoliated to a variety of substrates; VLS grown TiS3 is already very thin (~10), enabling you to obtain monolayers more easily.
