Description

Description In bulk (TlSe), thallium selenide has a bandgap of about 0.7 eV and exhibits strong photoluminescence. Similar to molybdenum disulfide, it has a layered structure (lamellar) with weak interlayer coupling and can be separated into monolayers.

Features And Benefits Each monolayer is four atoms thick (Se-Tl-Tl-Se), approximately 0.9-1.0 nm. The Raman peaks are sharp and strong, indicating high crystallinity. Our crystals were grown by state-of-the-art growth techniques after 8 weeks and showed high crystallinity. TlSe has a layered structure with weak interlayer coupling.

Application Single crystal TlSe comes ready for exfoliation and is ideal for 2D research.
