Description

Description The product is a vdW tellurium (bulk triangular phase) crystal. We synthesized layered tellurium crystals in perfect vdW order by a flux zone growth technique. The crystal has a rated purity of 99.9999% (6N) and crystallizes in perfect atomic order.

Features And Benefits

Features And Benefits Layered tellurium has a triangular lattice in which individual helical chains of Te atoms are stacked together by van der Waals bonds and helical hexagonal basic units at the center and corners around axes parallel to the [0001] direction. Tellurene exhibits a tunable bandgap.
It has four (two) complex, highly anisotropic and layer-dependent pockets of holes (electrons) in the first Brillouin zone with very high hole mobility, reaching a theoretical value of ~1E5 cm2/Vs.
