Description

Description The product is a vdW tellurium (b-phase) crystal. We synthesized layered tellurium crystals in perfect vdW order by a flux zone growth technique. The crystal has a rated purity of 99.9999% (6N) and crystallizes in perfect atomic order.

Features And Benefits

Features And Benefits Layered tellurium (Te) has a triangular lattice in which individual helical chains of Te atoms are stacked together by van der Waals-type bonds and helical around axes parallel to the [0001] direction at the centers and corners of the hexagonal unit cell.
It has been shown to exhibit metallic behavior under certain conditions and even host DCW. It has four (two) complex, highly anisotropic and layer-dependent pockets of holes in the first Brillouin zone with very high hole mobility, reaching a theoretical value of ~1E5 cm2/Vs.
