ONLINE INQUIRYDescription The monoclinic TaTe2 has metallic superconductivity and charge density wave behavior around 160-180K. We synthesized ambient stable monoclinic TaTe2 crystals by flux zone method and chemical vapor transport (CVT) techniques. Tantalum ditelluride is a group V transition metal dichalcogenide (TMDC).
Features And Benefits The provided TaTe2 CDW crystals are perfectly layered and oriented in the 0001 direction, so they can be exfoliated. Our crystals have extremely low defect concentrations ranging from 1E10 to 1E11 cm-2. TaTe2 crystals grown in the flux region have guaranteed CDW behavior. The produced TaTe2 crystals have typical lateral dimensions of about 0.6-0.8 cm, are plate-like and have a metallic appearance.
