Description

Description Ta2Se8I topological superconductor vdW crystal is a Weyl semimetal. At temperatures below Tc = 263 K, (TaSe4)2I forms a disproportionate CDW phase, undergoing a Peierls-like phase transition. This is accompanied by a gap opening of about 260 meV.
