Description

Description Niobium ditelluride (NbTe2) crystals are layered semimetals with a charge density wave ground state and a superconducting transition of about 1K. Niobium ditelluride is a group V transition metal dichalcogenide (TMDC).

Features And Benefits

Features And Benefits The NbTe2 crystals we produce have typical lateral dimensions of about 0.6-0.8 cm, are plate-like and have a metallic appearance. Our crystals are 100% environmentally stable: in bulk form, niobium ditelluride is metallic. Similar to molybdenum disulfide, it has a layered structure (lamellar) with weak interlayer coupling. NbTe2 exhibits metallic and superconducting behavior.
