Description

Description Niobium disulfide (NbS2) is a two-dimensional metal (3R phase) and two-dimensional superconductor (2H phase), depending on the crystalline phase. NbS2 (2H phase) is a superconductor with Tc ~6K and charge density wave (CDW) system. The layers are stacked together via van der Waals interactions and can be exfoliated into thin 2D layers. NbS2 belongs to the group V transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDC).
