Description

Description Manganese dioxide (MnO2) is a two-dimensional ferromagnetic, catalytic and semiconducting material. It is layered and exfoliates as easily as MoS2 or graphite. In the bulk form, the expected band gap of MnO2 is 1.5 eV, while in the monolayer form it is expected to increase to 2.0 eV.
