Description LaTe2 is a layered charge density wave (CDW) material with exotic quantum properties. The crystal structure of LaTe2 is particularly unique because 2D CDW LaTe2 is formed from square tiling tellurium layers, separated by LaTe sheets, crystallized into a layered undeformed tetragonal P4/nmm phase.

Features And Benefits Our crystals were synthesized using high-purity precursors to obtain 6N pure vdW crystals with perfect exfoliation properties. Since both lanthanum and tellurium are among the rarest elements in the world, crystal sizes are limited to a few millimeters. But the ease of exfoliation and large monodomain size make it easier to produce monolayer and few-layer sheets on other substrates using standard mechanical or polymer-assisted exfoliation techniques.
