Description

Description BSTS is a 3D topological insulator and superconductor with exciting superconducting properties from bulk to monolayer scales, with a structural element composition of Bi1.5Sb0.5Te1.7Se1.3. This is the optimized composition of the topological insulator Bi2Te2Se (BST), in which the Te:Se ratio is reduced by replacing (substituting) Bi with Sb atoms.

Features And Benefits In the image, Bi and Sb are in magenta, while Te and Se are in yellow and green. Our BSTS crystals are synthesized in our facility by chemical vapor transport techniques, and they are 3-5 mm in size due to the complexities associated with crystal growth.
