Application

Application For separation processes (paraffin isomers, alkanes), sensors and gas adsorption (hydrogen);
ZIF-8 based MOFs can be used to fabricate matrix membranes for gas separation processes such as hydrogen separation and nitrogen recovery;
They are also used as fillers to form PDMS-based membranes for solvent-resistant nanofiltration (SRNF). Commercially, they are used as porous materials for absorbing and sensing pesticides.
